This is a unique place for a forest retreat in a remote and secluded location. Enjoy isolation, privacy and quietude whilst surrounded by nature. Sleep to the sound of our waterfalls and the water stream that crosses the property, and wake up to crickets and birds. During the warmer months it is great out, under the sun or the soothing shadow of one of our close to 70 species of trees, whereas in the colder months you’ll enjoy being inside looking at the alluring landscape that keeps changing throughout the year.

We have two bedrooms, one with a King-size bed and the other with a double bed, a full bathroom with a bathtub for two, a toilet, a cozy space for reading and relaxing, a dining and living room, and two balconies. All rooms feature windows or French windows, including the kitchen and both bathrooms (fitted with mirrored glasses). Outside you will find sun loungers, hammocks, chairs, stools, tables and sun umbrellas.
Our kitchen is fitted with all the necessary appliances.

There are two bedrooms — King-size and double beds, a bathroom and a toilet, a corridor, a kitchen, a living and dining-room, a hall, a cozy space for reading and relaxing, and two balconies. All the spaces display large windows to the outside. There are indoors and outdoors dining areas. Not all forest area is easily accessible and as such our outdoors are not suited to people with mobility needs. Our grounds are not safe for unattended children, due to fall hazard in some spots. The neighbouring zone is forest area with no houses around, typically very quiet. Around the property there are no shops or services, but at Sever do Vouga village (5 km away) — «the home of the blueberry» — you will find all kinds of useful services, as well as a number of tourist attractions. The property is 80 km (60 min) by car away from Porto’s airport, 45 km (40 min) from Aveiro’s railway station, and 20 km (30 min) from Albergaria-a-Velha’s bus terminal.

House rules and guidelines

~ We are not equipped to host babies or infants.
~ Our property is not suited to people with mobility restrictions.
~ Capacity is 4 registered guests. Visitors and parties are not allowed.
~ Pets are not allowed.
~ Smoking is not allowed.
~ Fire is not allowed, due to forest fire hazard.
~ Photographic or video shootings for commercial purposes are not allowed.
~ Please be aware of the occasional presence of insects such as bees, mosquitoes or spiders, and small animals like cats and squirrels.
~ There may be occasional farming noises typical to the countryside.
~ The TV set is not connected to the Internet but you can use it with your devices.
~ Naturism is welcome anywhere on the property.
~ Guests are expected to leave the house tidy.
